Last performance

Yes, So i have managed to survive through this
long and tiring week.
With tests every single day in school
and rehearsals after school till 6pm/7pm.
Seriously, gave up on my homeworks and tests.
Came home everyday feeling so tired,
and just knock out to sleep.
But, well. Still hope i can at least pass my tests.

Today was the last performance for all the sec 4s.
Woke up real early. Skipped breakfast.
Prepared, left house. Bus-ed to school.
On the way, met Roxane to collect shoes
and went to school.
Got real high in the morning.
Got no idea why too.
So got everything settled, combined warm ups.
Played concert Bb scale and rushed off with the
Logistics members to setup in the parade square.
Just nice, Huiping was there to help me. :D
Seriously, thank her alot.
Band members started to settle down in the parade square
at 8.35am.
But the problem is. We had to be ready by 8.45am
to welcome the GOH.
And we had yet to get all the instruments down at the
parade square, move in the music room chairs etc.
Obviously panicked alittle,
yet Ms Zhang still can take her time to take a picture of
Me and Yilin.
After the picture, rushed off and settled everything
in the parade square and was on ready-mode to play.
Waited super duper long for the GOH.
Finally. Finished the parade.
Went to the dnt lab to rest. Ate and drank while
talking to Huiping :D
After sometime, setup layout again in the atrium.
As usual. Logistics members, Me and Huiping were there
to settle it.
Went to talk to Mr. Wong with the other leaders
while other instruments were shifted there.
Attire check. And got members settled down for tuning.
Lunch-time concert began.
Felt that it was a job well done.
Packed up and talked with Mr. Wong
and some other band members.
Lunch-ed with Kh. (:
Rushed back to school.
Slept for 10mins because of Huiping!
Hahaha. Right, then combined band.
Feeling super tired by then.
Tried Second suite in F, Concerto and Variants.
Finished off and packed up.
Band dismiss.

Dinner with Huiping, Weitian, Kaibin and Michael.
Michael went off, and Eoin joined us.
Had a good laugh at kfc with them.
Weitian was feeling terrible because she was the victim.
Went to PG with them.
Weitian left at 8plus, while we continued talking.
Homed at 10plus.
Rushing off, goodnight to all.

Its the last performance with the band today.
Memories starts to flashback.
Days where i had struggled to play a clarinet
when i was in Sec 1.
From 2nd to 3rd to alto clar, to 1st and 3rd again.
Seriously was a long and tough journey,
but well, i still made it to the end at least.
Syf in 2009. Results was a disappointment.
Held on to one another, cried our hearts out.
Becoming someone that had that special chance.
Walked on the journey for 1yr with the other leaders.
All the performances. All the section outings.
All the bbt talks with the band members
till late at night, as if we dont have to go home.
The band camp game, cling cling.
Having band almost everyday after school.
All the friendships built through band.
And now, its almost time to say goodbye and wish them all the best
for everything.
Damai winds walk on! I want you all to succeed.
If you all ever feel like giving up,
remind yourself why you had hang on in the first place.
Jy band! I wait for the good news. :D

And of course, lastly. I hope all the Sec 4s enjoyed the
last performance we all could have together.
And well done guys. We made it together and now, this will be part
of our memories. Thanks for everything. :D
